Copyright Notice

Overview
WanderGuide respects the rights of video creators and copyright holders. This page explains how we use embedded video content, how creators can request removal of their content from the Service, and how anyone can report a copyright concern. It supplements our Terms of Service.
How we use video content
- We embed videos using the hosting platform's own embed player (e.g. YouTube). Videos are never downloaded, re-hosted, copied, or altered.
- We extract factual travel information from publicly available videos, such as place names, locations, activities, and practical tips, and paraphrase it into our own written descriptions. We do not quote or reproduce a creator's spoken narration verbatim.
- We do not reproduce or display substantial portions of a creator's spoken narration or transcript as our own content.
- Every page that features a video or an insight extracted from it includes a direct, visible link back to the creator's channel.
- Thumbnails are retrieved through the hosting platform's official API and displayed unmodified, consistent with its branding and attribution requirements.
Creator removal requests
If you are the creator of a video featured on WanderGuide and want it removed from the Service, email support@wanderguide.co with:
- The URL of the WanderGuide page featuring your video.
- A link to your original video or channel.
- Confirmation that you are the creator (or authorized to act on their behalf).
We process creator removal requests within 24 hours. Removal takes the page down or delists the video; it does not affect your original video in any way, since we never host a copy of it.
Reporting a copyright concern
If you believe content on WanderGuide infringes a copyright you hold, in a way not covered by the creator removal process above, email support@wanderguide.co with the following information so we can investigate promptly:
- The URL of the WanderGuide page you believe infringes your rights.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed.
- Your contact information (name, email, and, if applicable, the organization you represent).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Good faith and false claims
Please only submit a request if you genuinely hold the rights in question or are authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf. Submitting a knowingly false or bad-faith claim may result in us disregarding future requests from the same sender.
